Only Yesterday: A Harlem Renaissance Musical is a captivating musical drama inspired by the Harlem Renaissance. It follows the story of C.W. Scott, a young African American war hero drawn into the vibrant world of 1920s Harlem as he navigates love, ambition, and the tumultuous social climate of the time. The musical explores themes of identity, justice, and the enduring power of art and culture. The show blends historical figures and fictional characters, weaving a rich tapestry of music, dance, and storytelling that celebrates the legacy of the Harlem Renaissance.
A tribute to Garifuna leader King Joseph Chatoyer, who led resistance against British colonial forces in the Caribbean.
